The Guild is excited to announce that we will be hosting a Consulting Afternoon Tea on Monday 9th March (8th week) from 5.15-8.00 in the Old Bank Hotel on the High Street (http://www.oldbank-hotel.co.uk/). THIS IS ONE OF THE MOST USEFUL AND FUN EVENTS YOU CAN ATTEND WITH LOTS OF DRINKS AND FOOD provided as well! This is an event that will really help you to get your foot into the door of some of the world’s largest consulting firms and is not one to miss. To attend please email your CV to president@theoxfordguild.com.
Each year students find this event invaluable and comment that it is amongst the most useful and enjoyable events they have been to whilst at Oxford.
We already have a fantastic guest list of representatives from the firms, many of whom are Oxford alumni ranging from partners to associates and from a range of different specialities and areas, so the event should provide the perfect springboard for finding out more about the companies attending and the opportunities available with their firms, as well as being an ideal setting for networking with representatives from some of the world’s leading consultancies. Recruiters will also be attending. Currently confirmed to be in attendance are Accenture, OC&C, Deloitte, Ernst &Young, KPMG and PwC with more to be confirmed shortly. It is a speed-networking style event and each group of students will spend around 20 minutes at each company’s table before moving on to the next one so you will receive exposure to all the representatives and firms.
This event is aimed at first and second year (or third year of a four year course) students and should prove to be incredibly useful. Spaces, which are LIMITED, are going fast, so if you would like to attend this invaluable event simply please quickly shoot off your CV to president@theoxfordguild.com .
We look forward to seeing many of you there.
