With a degree from the École Normale Supérieure and Columbia University, he used to be the speechwriter of the former french Minister of Economy and Finance Christine Lagarde (who is the current CEO of the IMF). Then, he worked as a strategy advisor for the BERD in London. In 2012, he ran for the legislative election as a member of the French Liberal Democratic party.
A prolific writer and intellectual, since April 2013, Gaspard has created the think tank Generation Libre (http://www.generationlibre.eu/) which he leads as President. This think tank aims to fight against the State planning policy including public investments and the rigidity of the multiple administrative layers. He is also targeting the individual freedoms (freedom of speech, freedom of action, etc.) which are over-protected by the State according to him. Finally, he wants to redefine the place of the individuals within the boundaries of the society in the context of the digital revolution.
This event is a unique and exciting opportunity to hear from an extremely high-profile figure, and there will be a Q&A session as part of the event before some cheese & wine. REGISTER YOUR INTEREST HERE: http://tinyurl.com/GaspardKoenigTalk
